Thank you for posting this, I used it to make a hanging loop for my little sis' spa wrap that I made her for Christmas. I think it'll work great! :-)

I highly recommend Outback Fibers in Texas(outbackfibers.com). She specializes in felt products. Also, New England Felting Supply for all kinds of stuff!
Enjoy!

I bought a bunch from Shuttles, Spindles and Skeins in Boulder. They ship, but they are mainly a brick and mortar store.

Paradise Fibers sells on the net. Their prices are slightly higher, but they have a bigger selection.

Sew Mama Sew blog ran tons of great project ideas for scraps during Ocotober. Many other sites had great ideas too. I don't quilt either but I made a list of my favorite, most likely to use ideas: http://julstech.blogspot.com/2009/10/what-to-do-with-scrap-fabric.html

Problem is just getting around to it! Maybe once the scrap pile reaches critical mass--ha, ha.

really lovely skirt. original, beautiful and fine craftsmanship. i looked at every single entry and you definitely deserved to win. i cannot believe the winning entry. perhaps wen lan chose is because it would be cheap and easy to produce! (ugh)

i've browsed "the art of manipulating fabric" and found it incredibly intimidating. maybe someday i'll be brave enough to try one or two of the techniques.

Hi Mirela,
It would definitely be great to have some kind of easy electronic knitting machine!
I just joined a knitting web board in which members discuss the Ultimate Sweater Machine.
It seems each person has their own approach to it.
Thanks again for checking about the foam. (so much appreciated) and I will try your tips!
:)

here is the link to the web board:
